York C20: A Gazetteer of Twentieth Century Architecture in York

This project is about retrieval. York’s C20 architectural heritage has been all but obliterated, or hidden in plain sight. Such obliteration is historiographical: resulting from a lack of informed engagement, research and publications. Students at different stages of their studies in the Department of History of Art at the University of York have got together to fill this lacuna, in the form of this new website.
